Let it flow
Cramps!!!
Initially, I thought it was the dieter's tea, but I've been drinking it for 4 days now so any cramping should have subsided, but this morning was the worst! I soon found out why. Sorry if this is TMI, but yep, Auntie Flo and the Red Army came marching through and boy, did they make an entrance! Ugh!
Surprisingly, I haven't had my usual sugar cravings this time, which I can only attribute to this new eating plan. By now, I'd be chomping on some chocolate and sipping on a glass of coke, well aware of the fact that it would only make it worse. If eating raw till dinner can eradicate the sugar cravings in just a couple of days, I can't wait to see what happens after a couple of weeks! I have also had a nagging throbbing in the back of my head. It comes and goes and I don't know what's causing it, whether it's the food, the TOM, the tea or what. I want to see if it wears off without meds. I certainly hope it does.
So aside from starting the day off with the TOM blues, it's been a mellow Saturday. I made a fresh coconut and pineapple smoothie this morning, which was oh so creamy and quite tasty. I just couldn't help thinking how scrumptious it would have been with some Malibu rum! I guess I didn't realize how quickly I would go through all the fruit and veg I bought on Monday, so I'll definitely need to restock tomorrow and continue the journey. That's going to be key to sticking with this, because the minute there are no fresh raw foods in the house is the minute temptation becomes harder to ignore.
